Hope everyone has had a chance to get out to rodeos now that rodeo season is in full swing!
I'm sure you've all noticed that I rewatched everyone. Version 6 has made it far less of a pain in the rear to go through members new deviations etc and its easier to keep track of who our members are if we're watching you

Theres no need to thank us for the watch.
We've had a couple of new members join (WELCOME!!

) as well as some new submissions, but I haven't had a chance to get them up yet due to some internet troubles. Don't worry, I haven't forgotten you, they will be up soon!

Sure, there are rodeos out there that do NOT abide by the rules, and believe me, I wish they would pay for it, but not all rodeos are the same, and not all are abusive. I recently went to ome at the KY horse park, barrel racing pole bending ect, and not one horse was mistreated and everyone went out of there way to make sure the animals were safe and healthy. Honestly it depends on the people, and the place. What about english sports like eventing, its not just rodeo that can get a horse or rider hurt/killed...look at jumping 7 ft jumps, ect. There is danger in every horse sport, and not all people love and care for there animals, but the ones who do, are nt doing anything wrong.
I have a barrel horse, who has been in rodeo's and raced all his life, and he is the sweetest, most loving horse I have ever seen. He's healthy and happy and loves to run.
I completely understand your feelings about cruelty and I cant tell you that all rodeos are safe, there are people out there who dont care, but there are people too, who do. Its not just rodeos either, its everything involving a horse.
I hope this helps, but please dont be angry with us, be angry at the ones who dont abide the rules!
